Križevci, Croatia Launches Multi‑Day Mosquito Fogging Campaign

The Veterinary Institute's disinfection unit in Križevci will carry out a three‑day mosquito‑control operation on 14‑16 July 2026. Mobile fogging vehicles will disperse a warm mist between midnight and 04:00 h, covering dozens of streets in the city centre and surrounding neighbourhoods.

Residents are asked to keep windows shut and remain indoors while the fog dissipates, especially people with respiratory conditions or allergies. Beekeepers are instructed to close their hives for the duration of the treatment and for at least three hours afterwards. In case of rain or strong wind, the operation will be postponed to the next suitable day.
