Križevci hosts thousands for St. Charbel relic anniversary

Approximately seven thousand believers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other countries gathered at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Križevci for the second anniversary of the arrival of the relic of St. Charbel. The event, organized by the St. Charbel Prayer Community, included liturgy, prayer, and blessings.

American missionary priest Father Jim Blount, a member of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT), was a featured speaker. During his address, he emphasized the importance of the Eucharist and prayer, sharing a personal testimony regarding the power of prayer in restoring a marriage through consistent devotion.

In a related context of religious gatherings, the National Meeting of Croatian Catholic Families took place in Aljmaš and Osijek. Observers noted that despite demographic challenges and social shifts in Croatia, the high turnout at these religious events suggests a continued faith and hope among the Croatian people.
