Kriminálka Neuer second season filming begins in Bratislava

Production has commenced in Bratislava for the second season of the crime series ‘Kriminálka Neuer’. The project, a co-production involving TV JOJ and Czech Television, is based on the books by former criminalist Václav Neuer.

Despite the Audiovizuálny fond (Audiovisual Fund) denying a requested subsidy of 190,000 euros in April, creators have moved forward with filming. Producer Jana Kluková confirmed that crews have begun the summer phase of shooting, with full production set to resume in September after a brief break.

The new season will feature creative changes, including an expanded role for the character Jana Kvantiková, a decision approved by the original author Václav Kincl. The cast will also be bolstered by the addition of actor Dušan Jamrich.
