Kripos links Lørenskog murder suspect to international drug network

Norwegian police (Kripos) have linked a 59-year-old man, Sharok Ezazi, to an extensive international narcotics network involved in the import, storage, and sale of drugs in Norway. Ezazi, who was arrested at Landvetter airport in Sweden, is also a suspect in the murder or complicity in the murder of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen.

The investigation stems from a major drug seizure in Østfold in March. Authorities have conducted raids and seizures in both Norway and Sweden, including electronic material and documents. A Swedish court has ruled that evidence seized from a property in Sweden will be handed over to Norwegian police.

Ezazi denies all involvement in the narcotics case as well as the Hagen murder investigation. He is expected to be extradited from Sweden to face pre-trial detention in the Oslo District Court.
