Kris Jenner defends Kylie Jenner's business success

Kris Jenner has defended daughter Kylie Jenner against ‘nepo baby’ criticisms, stating that Kylie used her own earnings to launch Kylie Cosmetics. Speaking at Disney’s ‘Created in LA’ event in Los Angeles, Jenner clarified that she did not simply fund the business with family money.

Jenner explained that she instructed Kylie to use the money she had earned from filming ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians,’ a show Kylie began appearing on at age nine. While acknowledging that Kylie inherited a significant platform through her family, Kris Jenner maintained that her daughter built her fortune through her own work. Kylie Jenner has previously addressed the debate, noting she had ‘a lot of help and a huge platform’ but did not inherit her wealth.
