Kris Srikkanth rejects Eoin Morgan and Brendon McCullum for CSK coach role

Former Indian batter Kris Srikkanth has expressed opposition to the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) appointing either Eoin Morgan or Brendon McCullum as the team's new head coach. The franchise is currently searching for a replacement following the departure of Stephen Fleming, who left after 18 years and five titles after the team failed to reach the playoffs for three consecutive seasons.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Srikkanth argued that while Morgan was a successful captain for England, he lacks coaching credentials. Srikkanth specifically criticized Morgan's tenure as captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders and suggested he should ‘stick to commentary’. Srikkanth also advised the franchise against appointing McCullum, the current England white-ball coach, for the role.
