Kris Statlander wins EVE Championship in London surprise appearance

Kris Statlander captured the EVE Championship during a surprise appearance at the Pro Wrestling EVE x The World 2 event in London. Answering an open challenge from the reigning champion, Session Moth Martina, Statlander secured the victory by delivering her ‘Friday Night Fever’ finisher twice.

The event, held at The Big Penny Social on August 28, took place during the AEW All In weekend. This victory marks Statlander’s second title in the promotion, having previously held the EVE International Championship until June.

While Statlander was in London alongside other AEW personalities such as Skye Blue, Marina Shafir, and referee Aubrey Edwards, she is not currently scheduled for a match at the AEW All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium.
