Kris Van Assche announces relaunch of namesake fashion brand

Designer Kris Van Assche has announced the relaunch of his namesake brand, which was previously shuttered in 2015. Unlike his previous work, which focused almost exclusively on menswear, the revived label will include both masculine and feminine collections.

Van Assche intends to deviate from traditional fashion industry rhythms by utilizing a direct-to-consumer distribution model via his website. The relaunch will feature a concentrated selection of approximately 40 styles, including jackets, shirts, trousers, skirts, dresses, and knitwear. To maintain a sense of rarity and scale, the collections will be produced using high-quality deadstock fabrics.

The new project will also serve as a platform to showcase Van Assche’s various design endeavors since his tenure at Berluti, such as his work with Serax, Downtown Gallery, Anta, and Fred Perry. The relaunch is expected to begin around mid-September.
