Krishna Gopal hoists flag in Delhi on Independence Day

Krishna Gopal, the सह-सरकार्यवाह (joint general secretary) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), hoisted the national flag at Keshav Kunj in Delhi during an Independence Day ceremony organized by the Shri Keshav Smarak Samiti.

During his address, Gopal honored the historical figures and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for India's independence, citing leaders and monarchs such as Prithviraj Chauhan, Shivaji Maharaj, Bhagat Singh, and Chandrashekhar Azad. He noted that the nation has made rapid progress since gaining independence from colonial rule.

Gopal emphasized that ideologies based on hatred cannot endure long-term. He stated that India serves as a model for the world, capable of promoting brotherhood and unity despite its immense diversity, especially as the global community faces challenges of intolerance and exploitation.
