Lakers' Luka Doncic expresses championship confidence

Luka Doncic expressed confidence in the Los Angeles Lakers' championship potential following a significant roster overhaul this offseason. Doncic, who was instrumental in several roster moves, noted his belief in the team's ability to win since the players first gathered in Slovenia.

The team's recent acquisitions include Austin Reaves and center Walker Kessler. Kessler has been sidelined due to a finger injury, but head coach JJ Redick provided an encouraging update, noting that Kessler participated in live play during recent practices. While Redick remained noncommittal regarding Kessler's availability for the upcoming preseason game against the Golden State Warriors, he indicated the team would monitor his progress closely.
