Kristen Kish calls for ‘Top Chef’ prize money to increase to $1 million

Kristen Kish, the Emmy-nominated host of Bravo’s ‘Top Chef’, has suggested that the competition’s grand prize should be increased to approximately $1 million. Kish noted that while the prize has risen from $125,000 during her winning season (Season 10) to $250,000 currently, inflation and the rising cost of ingredients necessitate a larger reward.

Kish expressed her pride in the show’s ability to change lives within the culinary industry. She highlighted the recent success of Season 23 winner Rhoda Magbitang, who previously worked in several notable kitchens including the Michelin-starred Mélisse.
