Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer collaborate on directorial debut ‘The Wrong Girls’

Actress Kristen Stewart and her wife, writer-director Dylan Meyer, are collaborating professionally following their marriage in April 2025. Their partnership is highlighted by the release of the independent comedy ‘The Wrong Girls’, which marks Meyer’s feature film directorial debut.

Stewart starred in the film, which was written by Meyer. The production was supported by Stewart, who encouraged Meyer to take on the directing role. The film features a cast including Alia Shawkat, LaKeith Stanfield, Tony Hale, Kate McKinnon, and Geena Davis, with voice work by Seth Rogen and Kumail Nanjiani.

In addition to their film work, Meyer is a co-founder of Nevermind Pictures alongside Stewart and Maggie McLean, a company dedicated to supporting female directors in their debut feature films. During recent press appearances for ‘The Wrong Girls’, Stewart and Shawkat also engaged in lighthearted discussions regarding the possibility of a ‘Twilight’ reboot.
