Kristen Stewart and Olivier Assayas reunite for film Spiritual World

Director Olivier Assayas is reuniting with actress Kristen Stewart for a new supernatural drama titled ‘Spiritual World’. The project marks their third collaboration, following ‘Clouds of Sils Maria’ and ‘Personal Shopper’.

In the film, Stewart will portray Ada, a young woman with clairvoyant abilities who is plagued by mysterious premonitions. The production features an international ensemble cast including Wagner Moura, Vicky Krieps, Riley Keough, Niels Schneider, and Barbara Sukowa.

Filming is scheduled to take place in France and Germany from February through April 2027. The film is being produced by Curiosa Films and co-financed by ARTE France Cinéma. While a release date has not yet been announced, the project is expected to follow a similar surrealist tone to Assayas’s previous works.
