Kristian Karlsson reaches table tennis EM final despite injury

Kristian Karlsson has advanced to the European Table Tennis Championships men's doubles final alongside Anton Källberg, despite struggling with a significant arm injury.

During the round of 16, Karlsson faced intense pain in his left arm, requiring massage treatment and a break before he could compete in the third set. Despite the discomfort, the Swedish pair secured a victory over the Moldovan duo Vladislav Ursu and Andrei Putuntica with a score of 11–5, 11–9, 15–13.

Karlsson described the pain as severe, noting that he had to rely on pain relief to continue. However, after rest, he reported that the sensation had become manageable. The pair will face a French duo in the final.
