Kristin Chenoweth Celebrates 58th Adoption Anniversary on Instagram

Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth marked the 58th anniversary of her adoption on July 30 with an Instagram post she called her “Gotcha Day.” In a series of photos with her adoptive parents, Jerry and Junie Chenoweth, she wrote, “I’m so blessed and grateful for this beautiful life they gave me. I love you, mom and dad!!” The heartfelt message was quickly liked by millions, including fellow actress Ricki Lake.

Chenoweth has previously spoken publicly about her adoption, noting that her parents told her, “We chose you,” and that she feels grateful for both her birth and adoptive families. She said she would “100 percent” adopt if she could and that she mentors many children in her life.
