Kristin Hersh releases new solo album Sugar on Blackstone

American indie icon Kristin Hersh has released her latest solo album, titled ‘Sugar on Blackstone’. The record features eleven tracks and explores deeply personal themes, specifically focusing on the artist's childhood and formative years in Providence, Rhode Island.

The album's sound is characterized by an organic, minimalist arrangement, utilizing a combination of guitar, cello, and drums. Hersh is joined by longtime collaborators Pete Harvey on cello and Rob Ahlers on drums.
