Kristina Kovačević Hitrec, Croatian influencer, passes away at 38

Kristina Kovačević Hitrec, the prominent Croatian influencer and author of ‘Mamin blog’, has passed away at the age of 38. She leaves behind six children.

Kovačević Hitrec was known for her candid discussions regarding the realities of motherhood, including financial struggles, child support issues, and the complexities of co-parenting. She had previously shared that one of her former partners had not contacted their children for 13 years and had failed to provide child support.

Earlier this year, following her sixth childbirth, she survived a life-threatening medical complication where a spinal anesthesia error temporarily blocked her respiratory nerves. Following that experience, she made the decision to undergo sterilization to prioritize her health and the well-being of her family.
