Former reality‑TV figure Kristijan Golubović has been accused by his ex‑partner Kristina Spalević of violently abusing and killing their Chihuahua dog, which she says died after he struck it in a bathtub while she was nursing a two‑month‑old infant. Spalević posted a series of video clips on social media showing the alleged abuse and gave a detailed account of the incident, including fleeing the apartment with her baby in a pair of underwear.

Following the accusations, Željko Mitrović, owner of Pink Media Group and the Red TV channel, suspended both Golubović and Spalević from the broadcaster. The scandal prompted reactions from a number of public figures – singers, influencers and other reality‑TV participants – who condemned the alleged animal cruelty and expressed support for Spalević.
