Kristjan Ilves finishes seventh at Grand Prix in Bischofshofen

Estonian Nordic combined athlete Kristjan Ilves secured seventh place at the summer Grand Prix in Bischofshofen, Austria. The competition, held under extreme heat reaching 35 degrees Celsius, served as a key test for Ilves to evaluate his jumping form and test his competition suit for the upcoming winter season.

The event was won by Norwegian Jens Lurås Oftebro, who led his brother Einar Lurås Oftebro to second place. Austrian Stefan Rettenegger finished third. Ilves recorded a jump of 130.0 meters, earning 119.4 points, before finishing the cross-country portion 2 minutes and 7.2 seconds behind the winner.
