Kriti Sanon to star in Maddock Films horror project

Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon is set to star in an upcoming untitled horror film produced by Maddock Films. The project is currently in the pre-production and planning stages and is described as a large-scale venture.

This marks Sanon’s first foray into the pure horror genre. Although she has previously stated in interviews that she is not a fan of horror films, she reportedly intends to take on the role to challenge herself as a performer. The narrative is expected to feature a strong female protagonist.

Maddock Films has a significant history of success in the supernatural and horror-comedy space with titles such as ‘Stree’, ‘Munjya’, and ‘Bhediya’. Sanon has a long-standing professional relationship with the studio, having collaborated on approximately ten previous projects including ‘Mimi’ and ‘Luka Chuppi’.
