Kriva Palanka hosts international folklore and music festivals

The municipality of Kriva Palanka is hosting a diverse series of cultural events as part of its summer programming. The schedule includes the XXI International Folklore Festival ‘St. Joachim Osogovski’ from August 25 to 27, featuring folklore ensembles from ten countries, including Macedonia, Poland, the Netherlands, Montenegro, Turkey, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.

Alongside the folklore festival, the ‘Shopsko Selo’ festival will take place from August 25 to 27, focusing on traditional crafts, food, and gastronomy. The cultural program will culminate on August 29 with a large-scale concert at the Kriva Palanka City Stadium featuring performers Lepa Brena, Aco Pejovik, and Slatkar.

Earlier events in the summer program include musical performances by Sashko Mitov, literary evenings, art exhibitions at the Center for Culture, and musical sets by Goko Gjorcev, Kate, and DJ Vono.
