Kırıkkale Metal Truck Overturn Injures Driver, Couple Escapes Unharmed

A metal‑laden Scania truck overturned on the Kırıkkale‑Çorum D200 highway near the Ulaş Bridge. The truck driver was injured and taken to Kırıkkale Yüksek İhtisas Hospital. A Skoda car traveling beside the truck, driven by Erol Bulguroğlu, swerved to avoid being crushed. He and his wife, Kezban Bulguroğlu, escaped without injury despite metal cargo striking the vehicle and causing material damage. Kezban said, "When I saw the trailer overturn I shouted to my husband, 'Run, it's falling' – if we hadn't moved, the metal would have fallen on us." The accident caused a lengthy traffic jam, with emergency services clearing the wreckage and restoring traffic flow. Police opened an investigation into the cause of the truck’s loss of control.
