Kırıkkale shepherd arrested for orchestrating livestock theft

In the Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale, Turkey, a shepherd from Uzbekistan conspired with two accomplices to steal 350 head of small livestock belonging to Ufuk Özdemir. To divert suspicion, the shepherd, identified as A.T., had his accomplices tie him up with rope in a field to make him appear as a victim.

Following the theft, the Yahşihan District Gendarmerie Command launched an investigation, utilizing security camera footage to uncover the plot. The footage revealed that the suspects, F.A. and M.D., had met with the shepherd two days prior to the crime.

The stolen flock was recovered near the Elmadağ district border and returned to the owner. The two primary suspects were arrested and sent to court, while the shepherd was deported following legal proceedings.
