Kırklareli search continues for person missing in sea

In the Vize district of Kırklareli, Turkey, a search and rescue operation is underway for a person identified as Arda B., who went missing in the sea. The incident occurred at a public beach in the Kıyıköy town, despite a ban on swimming in the Demirköy and Vize districts due to severe weather and storm warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology.

A group of four friends entered the water in defiance of the ban. After being swept away by strong waves, three members of the group were successfully rescued: two by Coast Guard Command boats and one by local fishermen. The rescued individuals were taken to the hospital and are reported to be in good health.

Search efforts for Arda B. have entered their third day. The operation involves a coordinated effort including Coast Guard helicopters and boats, gendarmerie teams using drones, and AFAD teams conducting searches from the land. Vize District Governor Kemal Balaban has been monitoring the progress of the rescue teams.
