KRL Commuter Line Bogor-Jakarta service resumes after tree fall
KRL Commuter Line services on the Bogor-Jakarta Kota route have returned to normal following a disruption caused by a fallen tree near Universitas Indonesia (UI) Station. The incident, triggered by rain and wind on Wednesday (30/9/2026), damaged the overhead power line (LAA) network between Pasar Minggu and UI stations.
During the disruption, service was restricted, with trains from Jakarta Kota only operating as far as Pasar Minggu Station. KAI Commuter reported that repairs to the power lines were completed by 3:50 PM WIB, allowing trains to resume using both tracks at normal speeds.
While operations have stabilized, officials noted that staff are still working to normalize delays and manage passenger queues for trains heading toward Bogor. KAI Commuter has advised passengers to monitor real-time updates via their official social media channels and the C-Access application.
