KAI Daop 6 Yogyakarta serves 45,678 passengers during Independence Day

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 6 Yogyakarta reported serving 45,678 passengers during the 81st Indonesian Independence Day celebrations. The highest passenger volumes were recorded at Yogyakarta Station, with 16,036 departing passengers and 8,740 arriving passengers.

Various rail services in the region continue to operate with regular schedules. The KRL Commuter Line between Solo and Yogyakarta maintains a fare of Rp 8,000 per trip. Additionally, the Prameks service provides direct travel between Yogyakarta and Kutoarjo, while the Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) train offers both regular and Xpress services to connect travelers to the airport.

Passengers can utilize digital booking methods, such as the Gojek app via GoTransit or the Access by KAI application, to manage their travel plans.
