Krnov opposition groups agree to coordinate council negotiations

In Krnov, three opposition groups—Demokraté pro Krnov, Krnováci, and Za Krnov with KDU—have agreed to coordinate their actions during negotiations for the future leadership of the town council. Together, these groups hold nine seats in the 27-member assembly, which is insufficient to form a majority without reaching at least 14 votes.

The groups stated that their agreement is intended to coordinate further negotiations and promote shared priorities rather than defining a specific coalition structure. The election results, where Patrioti Krnova and ANO 2011 each secured seven mandates, were viewed by the trio as a signal from voters desiring change.
