Kroger appoints Nate Faust as Chief eCommerce Officer

Kroger has appointed Nate Faust as Executive Vice President and Chief eCommerce Officer, effective September 1. Faust will lead the retailer’s digital business and eCommerce efforts as part of a broader leadership reshaping by CEO Greg Foran.

Faust brings extensive experience in online merchandising, fulfillment, and supply chain management. He was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Jet.com and later served as Senior Vice President of Walmart U.S. eCommerce Supply Chain following Walmart’s acquisition of Jet.com. His previous roles include executive positions at Diapers.com and most recently at Olive, a company focused on reducing e-commerce delivery waste.

The appointment aligns with Kroger’s strategy to drive profitable e-commerce growth. The company recently reported a 19% increase in adjusted e-commerce sales in its first quarter.
