Kroger Co. to report Q2 FY26 results on September 11

Kroger Co. is scheduled to report its second-quarter FY26 financial results on September 11. Investors are looking to the report to evaluate the progress of CEO Greg Foran’s strategy to regain market share and improve competitiveness against rivals such as Walmart and Costco through price reductions and private-label offerings.

Wall Street analysts estimate adjusted earnings of approximately $1.05 per share, a slight increase from the $1.04 reported in the previous year. Revenue is projected to reach $34.56 billion, representing a 1.82% year-over-year increase. The company has previously noted strong performance in e-commerce and precision marketing.

In recent institutional trading activity, Winton Group Ltd reduced its position in Kroger by 12.7% during the second quarter. Conversely, BlackRock Inc. established a new position in the company worth over $3 billion, and the California State Teachers Retirement System significantly increased its holdings by more than 6,000%.
