Kroměříž to host first Czech Mladifest youth festival in 2026

The Czech Republic will host its first Mladifest, a Medjugorje-style youth festival, in Kroměříž from October 29 to November 1, 2026. Organized by the Mir Medjugorje CZ Information Center in cooperation with the Medjugorje Center, the event follows similar successful national festivals in the USA and France.

The four-day program is designed primarily for young people aged 15 to 35, though it is open to all. Activities will include prayer, catechesis, personal testimonies, workshops, singing, dancing, and various meetings. The event aims to provide spiritual strength and a moment of reflection during the school and work year.

International guests from Medjugorje will attend, including chaplain Josip Stanić and dancer Kevin Tanfeudeu from France. Religious services will be led by Archbishop Josef Nuzík and Bishop Antonín Basler.
