Krone expands BiG Pack square baler lineup with Plus and Pro models

Krone has expanded its sixth generation of BiG Pack square balers with the introduction of the Plus and Pro finishes. The new lineup is designed to handle both hay and straw, utilizing a standardized construction base to simplify servicing and spare parts supply while offering different performance levels.

The BiG Pack Plus series is positioned as an economical and efficient option for farms and agricultural cooperatives seeking reliability and a strong value proposition. It includes models BP 1270 (XC/VC), BP 1290 (XC), and BP HDP 1290 (XC).

The BiG Pack Pro series focuses on high yield, increased comfort, and advanced automation. Both series share several core components, including the pick-up, knotters, user interfaces, and accessories such as moisture sensors, work lighting, and additive incorporators. Technical innovations in this generation include a new Liebherr main transmission gearbox, the EasyFlow pick-up, and enhanced protection for hydraulic and electronic elements.
