Krones and HHLA adjust financial outlooks
Krones AG, a manufacturer of filling systems, has seen its valuation targets lowered by major banks despite maintained buy recommendations. DZ Bank reduced its fair value for the company from 160 to 131 euros, citing a reduction in EBITDA forecasts for 2027 and 2028 by up to 11 percent. Berenberg also lowered its price target to 158 euros, though analysts suggest current market weakness may be temporary.
Separately, Hamburg-based logistics provider HHLA has lowered its profit forecast for the current fiscal year. The company now expects earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to fall between 115 million and 135 million euros, down from a previous guidance of 150 million to 170 million euros. HHLA attributed this adjustment to warning strikes, construction work, write-downs, and a significant expected decline in container throughput.
