Kroy Biermann Jr. indicted on seven felony charges in Georgia

Kroy ‘KJ’ Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, has been indicted on seven felony charges following an alleged sexual assault in Alpharetta, Georgia. A Fulton County grand jury returned the indictment on September 3, 2026. The charges include aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment, and three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16.

The indictment stems from an incident allegedly occurring on April 23, 2026, at a Life Time Fitness facility. Biermann is being charged as an adult under Georgia’s SB440 law. He was arrested on August 17 and is currently held without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center.

Defense attorney Jason Sheffield stated that the indictment represents only one side of the story, noting that the accused has no right to participate or present evidence during grand jury proceedings. Sheffield emphasized that Biermann was 14 years old at the time of the alleged incident and expressed intent to present evidence to prove his client's innocence.
