Krummhörn-Greetsiel to host 12th Kirchturm-Tour in 2026

The 12th Krummhörner Kirchturm-Tour is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026. Organized by Touristik GmbH Krummhörn-Greetsiel, the event invites participants to cycle through the Krummhörn region.

The approximately 70-kilometer route begins in Jennelt and passes through 19 Warf villages and 21 church parishes. Cyclists can complete the full distance or participate in sections. The tour features various activities at different stations, including organ and choir music, refreshments, guided tours, and church or tower visits. Participants can collect stamps on a personal card at each stop.

The route traverses scenic landmarks such as the lighthouses in Campen and Pilsum, the chief's castles in Pewsum and Groothusen, and the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Wadden Sea. Donation boxes will be available in the churches for those wishing to support the local parishes.
