KRUS deadline for harvest helper contributions

Farmers in Poland must pay insurance contributions for harvest helpers by September 15. These contributions cover accident, sickness, maternity, and health insurance.

For helpers employed under a harvest assistance agreement, contributions are settled monthly. The accident and sickness insurance component is 78 PLN for a full month, or proportional to the number of days worked. The health insurance contribution is fixed at 277 PLN, regardless of the number of days worked. Farmers are required to report helpers to KRUS within seven days of signing the agreement.
