KRUS launches national agricultural safety competition

The Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) has launched the 7th National Test Competition on Safe Work in Farms, titled ‘The Role of the Farmer to Avoid Falls’. This online initiative is a preventive measure designed to reduce the frequency of workplace accidents in agriculture, specifically targeting falls, which are among the most common reported incidents in farm settings.

Participants, who must be farmers covered by KRUS social insurance, are required to complete a multiple-choice test. The assessment covers topics such as identifying causes of falls, proper workstation organization, maintaining order, using appropriate footwear and equipment, and exercising caution when working at heights.

Winners will be determined based on both accuracy and the speed of completion. One hundred participants who achieve the highest scores in the shortest time will receive prizes and gifts provided by KRUS, strategic partner AGRO Ubezpieczenia, and the Polish Association for Plant Protection. The test is available online until November 17, 2026.
