Kruszewo hosts 27th National Cucumber Day

The 27th edition of the National Cucumber Day is being held in Kruszewo, a region known as the “cucumber hub of Podlasie.” The event celebrates local agricultural traditions, featuring regional specialties such as pickles and sauerkraut, which are recognized as traditional products of the Podlaskie Voivodeship.

The festivities include a craft fair, workshops on herbal uses, and folk performances. The program features various activities, including a field mass for planters and traditional competitions such as the “Cucumber Throw.”
