Krynica Forum 2026 convenes to discuss Poland's future
The Krynica Forum 2026 has commenced in Krynica-Zdrój, bringing together representatives from the government, parliament, local authorities, academia, and the business sector. Under the theme ‘Serious Conversations,’ the event aims to move beyond superficial political networking to foster deep, substantive debate on the challenges facing the Polish state.
Key discussions include a roundtable focused on the future of local governments, addressing resident safety, crisis preparedness, and cooperation between central and local administrations. In the Małopolska region, Marshal Łukasz Smółka outlined development priorities for the next 20 years, emphasizing health, safety, water infrastructure, public transport, and specialized medical care.
Additionally, the forum highlighted the importance of tourism and historical preservation, specifically regarding the Skrzyńskich Palace in Zagórzany. The event features a diverse range of speakers, including academic experts and prominent media creators from platforms such as YouTube and podcasts.
