Krzysztof Bosak criticizes proposed Polish sanctions law

During a press conference in Wieluń, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Krzysztof Bosak criticized a proposed legislative act intended to implement EU sanctions. Bosak argued that the bill, referred to as Act 3003, contains provisions that exceed EU requirements and could allow the Ministry of Internal Affairs to regulate economic life and freedom of speech.

Bosak highlighted concerns regarding the use of restrictive measures, noting that violations could lead to fines of up to 20 million PLN or 12 years in prison. He specifically pointed to vague definitions regarding “interference in the information space,” suggesting the law lacks clarity and could impact political debate, social campaigns, and marketing.

In addition to the legislative critique, Bosak is conducting a regional tour in Podkarpackie, including press briefings in Sanok regarding local healthcare challenges and public meetings in Krosno.
