Krzysztof Krawczyk's voice removed from ‘Na Wspólnej’ opening

The long-running Polish television series ‘Na Wspólnej’ has recently updated its opening credits, removing the vocals of the late legendary singer Krzysztof Krawczyk. Since the show’s premiere in 2003, Krawczyk’s voice has been a signature element of the production. The vocal performance has been replaced by an instrumental version of the theme.

The change has drawn significant backlash from viewers and the singer’s widow, Ewa Krawczyk. Expressing her disappointment, Ewa Krawczyk noted that the song was a recognizable signal for audiences to tune in. She stated, ‘It makes me a little sad... It is not up to me to decide, it is not my business.’

Andrzej Kosmala, a long-time friend and manager of the late artist, is reportedly contesting the production's decision.
