Krzysztof Rutkowski announces drug testing for Michał Kołodziejczak

Detective Krzysztof Rutkowski held a press conference regarding the allegations against politician Michał Kołodziejczak. The controversy stems from claims by former associates accusing Kołodziejczak of violence, humiliation, and encouraging drug use, specifically cocaine. While Kołodziejczak has denied these allegations, the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into claims of coercion and the provision of narcotics.

During the conference, Rutkowski announced that Kołodziejczak will undergo laboratory hair testing to detect the presence of drugs to ensure the results are not tampered with. Rutkowski also revealed that he has filed a separate notification to the prosecutor regarding alleged corruption and criminal ties involving three political figures, including one current government deputy minister, though he did not name them.

Kołodziejczak, who has been suspended from the Koalicja Obywatelska club, was not present at the briefing. Rutkowski stated he would attempt to arrange for Kołodziejczak to address the media before his own departure for Thailand.
