KSD Nanum Foundation donates 80 million won for welfare worker burnout prevention

The KSD Nanum Foundation, established by the Korea Securities Depository, has donated 80 million won to the Korea Women's Training Center to support burnout prevention programs for social welfare workers.

The funding will facilitate six training sessions held between August 31 and October 30 in Gangneung, Gangwon Province. The programs are designed to provide emotional recovery and recharging opportunities for 240 professionals working in facilities that support vulnerable groups, including victims of gender-based violence and those serving elderly, disabled, or multicultural populations.

Since 2013, the Korea Securities Depository has maintained an agreement with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family to support workers in facilities for victims of violence. In 2022, the scope of this support was expanded to include a broader range of social welfare facility employees.
