KSP Chief Dudung inspects irrigation and education programs in North Sumatra
Indonesian Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Chief Dudung Abdurachman conducted field inspections in North Sumatra to monitor the implementation of central government programs.
In Deli Serdang, Dudung inspected irrigation channels under the P3-TGAI program, which focuses on community-based infrastructure to support food self-sufficiency. He noted that the program provides direct funding to farmers to manage tertiary irrigation networks, which helps ensure water reaches agricultural plots and increases rice production.
In Serdang Bedagai, Dudung visited the Integrated People's School (Sekolah Rakyat Terintegrasi) to evaluate the program's effectiveness for underprivileged children. He stated that his role is to ensure presidential programs are executed correctly and pledged to coordinate with relevant ministries to address any deficiencies found during his inspections. The government aims to build 590 permanent People's Schools by 2029.
