KSP coordinates with APDESI on KDMP village cooperative program

The Indonesian Presidential Staff Office (KSP), led by Dudung Abdurachman, met with the Association of All Indonesia Village Governments (APDESI) to discuss the implementation of the Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) program.

Abdurachman stated that the KSP will facilitate inter-institutional coordination to ensure the KDMP program is participatory, proportional, and aligned with the specific characteristics of individual villages. The goal is to ensure the presidential priority program meets its targets and provides direct economic benefits to rural communities.

During the meeting, APDESI representatives raised concerns regarding limited village fiscal capacity in the face of high funding requirements for national priority programs. While expressing full commitment to the KDMP as an economic tool, APDESI emphasized that the program should be implemented without compromising the ability of villages to provide basic services, community empowerment, and local development.
