KT and KOSHA partner to enhance industrial safety culture
The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) and KT have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote safety culture and bridge the safety management gap between primary contractors and subcontractors.
Through this partnership, KOSHA will provide its industrial safety expertise while KT utilizes its extensive communication infrastructure and public touchpoints to disseminate safety messages. The collaboration aims to enhance safety awareness within the telecommunications sector and support small-scale businesses that may lack sufficient safety management capabilities.
Key initiatives include participating in safety culture promotion groups, utilizing KT’s online and offline media—including large screens and service vehicles—to spread safety information, and sharing best practices for industrial accident prevention. The agreement also emphasizes the importance of labor-management cooperation to ensure safety values are deeply rooted in the workplace.
