KT hosts AI children's book event at Seoul Plaza

KT is hosting a cultural event titled ‘Together Drawn Book AI Friend Playground’ at Seoul Plaza in collaboration with the Seoul Outdoor Library to celebrate Hangeul Day. The event aims to share children's creative works discovered through the Genie TV Kidsland ‘Together Drawn Book’ contest and promote the social value of child creativity.

The event features exhibitions of previously published picture books and screenings of AI-generated fairy tales created using generative AI technology, including text-to-speech (TTS) and image/video production. Children who won awards in the third season will participate in reading sessions to introduce their works. Additionally, the venue will offer hands-on programs such as AI image-making workshops and mini-book crafting.

The third season's grand prize-winning work, ‘Yui’, has been released in physical and electronic formats. This book was reconstructed by children's literature author and illustrator Jenny Meilihove. The ‘Together Drawn Book’ project has gained international recognition, with its second season receiving a ‘Special Mention’ in the Crossmedia category at the 2026 Bologna Ragazzi Awards.
