KT partners with Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation to boost youth entrepreneurs

South Korea's telecom operator KT and the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding on the 15th to deepen cooperation on youth small‑business support. The agreement links KT's "Wai‑roun Store" program with the city's "Prep Academy" – a 12‑week practical training scheme for aspiring restaurant owners aged 19 to 39.

Through the partnership, graduates of the Prep Academy will receive branding, marketing and digital‑solution assistance from KT, including store‑design work by Y‑artist collaborators, video production by Y‑futurist teams and promotion on Y‑brand social‑media channels. Additional support comprises up to 70 million won in financing and consulting, as well as digital‑operation training, aimed at accelerating brand awareness and sustainable growth for early‑stage youth entrepreneurs.
