KT to recruit 140 new graduates with focus on AI capabilities

KT has announced a recruitment drive for approximately 140 new university graduates, with applications open until September 7. The hiring focuses on three key areas: network infrastructure operation, B2B consulting and sales, and B2C marketing and sales.

A central component of the selection process is the evaluation of AI application capabilities. Rather than testing theoretical knowledge, KT intends to assess how candidates use AI to solve practical problems within specific job contexts. This approach reflects the company's goal to foster talent capable of driving business improvements through new technologies.

The company stated it will prioritize practical experience and problem-solving skills over traditional credentials like academic background or certifications. Successful candidates will receive systematic training to develop professional expertise and integrate AI into their daily operations to support KT's transition toward an AI transformation (AX) platform company.
