Kütahya Dumlupınar University academics elected to Sigma Xi

Two faculty members from Kütahya Dumlupınar University (DPÜ) have been elected as full members of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society. Prof. Dr. Fatih Şen of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Basri Karayel of the Gediz Vocational School received this distinction based on the quality and impact of their scientific research.

Founded in 1886 in the United States, Sigma Xi is a prestigious international organization that supports research in science and engineering. Membership is granted through a nomination process to researchers who have demonstrated significant achievements and contributions to their respective fields.

DPÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak congratulated the academics, stating that their achievement strengthens the university’s scientific production capacity and its academic representation on the international stage.
