Kütahya Dumlupınar University expands community outreach

Kütahya Dumlupınar University is conducting various community outreach initiatives through its "Hayat Üniversitesi" (Life University) Project.

In Hisarcık, the Hisarcık Vocational School organized an educational session for municipal staff regarding government systems and state organization. The program, led by Lecturer Tevfik Karaşahin, covered the historical development of government systems, the Presidential Government System used in Turkey, and the structure of public administration.

Additionally, University Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak met with farmers in the İnköy region during the harvest season. This initiative focused on bridging academic science with practical field experience. Discussions included agricultural challenges, the impact of climate change, water efficiency, and the role of technology in increasing productivity. The Rector emphasized the importance of integrating university knowledge with the long-standing experience of local producers.
